A garden facing the south west sun on dry sand needs an overhaul. The soil is dry and draining quick. The sun is hot and the yard is home to every weed you can imagine. Nothing grows, and the tenants want to grow their own food. Rather than fight these conditions, we found a host of Mediterranean plants that gladly took root.
