Our work is inspired by the mediterranean climates of eastern Oregon, Italy, and the deserts of California. The climate in Portland, Oregon is a perfect melting pot where it’s possible to grow just about anything. Imagine coming home to a large sweep lavender of and jasmine perfuming the air, rare flowers, and gentle grasses flowing in the wind. Why not?

Alex did an incredible job transforming our yard into a pollinator-friendly xeriscape with native plants! Our front yard was all sad, dry grass that sloped down to the sidewalk and a big pine tree and bark chips. Now it pops with a variety of evergreen plants and native specials, fresh mulch and a new wall - it has lots of curb appeal and is better than I could've imagined!

I moved into a newly constructed home with a backyard that was a blank canvas of grass surrounded by dirt all around the perimeter.. I wanted to create a space for my daughter and I to spend time together, garden, learn about food, and have fun! Alex made this all possible. The backyard has become a family gathering place. We have so much fun harvesting fruits and vegetables. And even though the project was completed several years ago, Alex checks in regularly to see how the yard is doing. He maintains it and is always available to answer my questions so I can do the upkeep myself too. I've learned a ton from him. On top of all that, he's just a genuine, great guy. I couldn't recommend him more!

We needed professional help bringing our neglected japanese maples and other trees back to a manageable size and shape. Alex did a nice job working with some difficult material, did exactly what we asked, and did it at a reasonable cost. He also 1) returns calls and texts, 2) shows up, and 3) cleans up before he leaves. We plan to have Alex back to help us keep the yard looking it's best. Thanks Alex :)
